Death is Inevitable

 Last night around 9 pm I received the message from my friend Khalid (bkaks). I was shocked to read about the death of his father. I am still trying to digest the news.

Khalid is such a noble gentleman and good friend to me within a short time. Brother please accept the heartfelt condolences. May The Almighty give our friend & brother Khalid courage to bear this irreparable loss of his father and we share our heart felt condolences & grief at this hour.

I know what it feels like when one looses his father. Few years back I lost my father. These are such moments when we get doubt if there is God ?

I am very sorry, we must never consider the judgment of God as wrong or unjust, God is definitely all perfect and His decisions towards the universe can never be wrong, we may or may not understand His judgment, but He can never be wrong.

Everyone is busy in life getting settle down, enjoying happy married life, giving good education to their kids, they have no time to think about death.

We all do not want to remember death because we think we will not be able to do any thing in this world. Yes, death is the truth of life but to live life is also a truth otherwise how death will come. We must know that end of life is as certain as life itself. But we live our lives bravely without fear of death.

DEATH Certainty is a word which brings either solutions or complications to life. Sometimes we try to hide certain truths of which we are aware, like the one certain truth in life - Death. When we talk about birth suddenly a smile comes to our faces, but when it comes to death none of us seems to know what to say or how to react.

The death hour is secret. Death may come at any time to cut off anyone, without differentiating between young and old.

We all know that Death is inevitable and, whether willingly or unwillingly, everyone will enter the grave. Surprisingly no one wants to talk about death, let alone think about it, so when it comes, as it always will, we are not prepared.

The reason we do not talk about death is that it is too painful and it reminds us of our own mortality. So when a loved one dies we are at a loss of what to do. Some facts are hard to accept and death is one major fact which no one in this world be it rich or poor cannot deny.

The holy Quran says! Everyone shall taste death. Death is a natural event for all living things.It comes to every one of us, we will all die.

To Allah (Almighty God) we belong, and to Him is our return." (Holy Qur'an 2:156)

Multitudes of men have walked on the surface of this Earth. They all belonged to different nations and cultures. A few of them made history for which they were remembered, whereas others were never to be mentioned again. Although each one was personally different from another - their habits, thinking and tastes differed - they all had two things in common, first, they were all delivered from their mothers womb (birth) and second, they all tasted death. Who claims he has lived a thousand years?

Death brings an end to our temporary life on this Earth. It is an occasion of sorrow and grief for the loved ones of the deceased. One has to keep in mind that death can arrive at any time. Death puts an end to our human body but does not destroy our soul.

Our lives are judged according to what we did, not according to how many years we lived. We know that life is very short, and at the end of it comes death. We do not know when we are going to die, so we have to make sure that we do many good deeds before we pass into the next life and we are unable to return to repent from our bad deeds, or to do more good deeds.

No one can avoid old age, sickness & death.

Right now from this moment, before we age, let’s do the meritorious deeds.

Right now from this moment, before we get sick, let’s do the meritorious deeds.

Right now from this moment, before we die, let’s do the meritorious deeds.

In the end we can never escape the fact that we do continue to live after this one earth-life. Death is only a transition to be made and is not an end in itself. It is therefore so important to pay attention to spiritual happenings and not to suppress all thoughts of death but to accept it as an integral part of life. This will allow us to live a good life.

Dear brother Khalid I Don't have words to say anything more. May the departed soul rest in peace. Almighty give you enough courage & willpower to cope up. We all are with you in these grief-stricken moments.
