PEACE TO ME IS !

Gandhiji once said, "There's no way to peace. Peace is the way." I completely agree with it. Peace should be the main root to be planted in everyones life. Peace is the result of the solution of inner conflicts, on a global scale. Global peace in fact cannot be achieved without the efforts of all human beings, determined to direct their lives toward more than personal goals.


Individuals all over the world should take responsability for their lives and contribute to building a world where people of different cultures and faiths can live in peace. Human spirit should be tranformed and trained to a culture of non-violence. The inner change, the human revolution is the key to stimulate contributive action and compassion of people within their communities, workplaces and family. That's the way we can build peace, and the way is long maybe, but the unity of intentions and spirit and the common respect of everyone's life, non matter about any sort of difference, may be the big basic step to universal harmony.

Dastkar -The Nature Bazaar

  I always buy some fancy things in the exhibitions. I buy what I like & I don’t think of buying as an investment because the fashions change, different things go in and out of favour and values will go up as well as down. I buy to get enjoyment out of the piece for the years to come & if it becomes valuable then that’s an added bonus. Recently I visited Dastkar Exhibition “The Nature Bazaar” at Palace grounds, Bangalore. Dastkar is a society for crafts and craftspeople. It’s a useful organization that brings artisans of different parts of India under one roof to enable them to sell directly to the public avoiding middlemen. They conduct exhibition cum sales in various cities and give a boost to the exposure, sales and working dynamics of the traditional crafts in this modern age. Victory Of Good Over Evil

  Dussehra is the most popular festival in India. It is celebrated all over India. Dusshera comes from the “Dush” or ten and “Hara” means defeat. The ten headed king Ravan was defeated by lord Rama. From past several years I have been regularly visiting Mysore during Dussehra festival. I am still not able to understand why the effigies of Ravan are burned by the selfish politicians. My questions is when there are so many Ravanas around us whom are we burning? During the Dussehra function in Mysore I was discussing with a scholar regarding the significant of the Dussehra festival. He explained very beautifully, it is the victory of good over evil; one has to hate evil not Ravan. The ten headed king Ravan represents all that is evil.
