Three Indian Cities In World’s Fastest Growing List.
Economic growth sometimes misled to understand it as an indicator of prosperity & wellbeing of people. The real indicator of prosperity is quality of life. The quality of life is about healthy living & the possibility to live in harmony with others and environment.
Three Indian cities Ahmedabad, Bangalore & Chennai have been listed among the world's fastest-growing cities by Forbes magazine. Bangalore (home of Infosys, Wipro & other software companies), Ahmedabad (whose per-capita incomes are twice that of the rest of India) and Chennai (which has created 100,000 plus jobs this year) are India's key industries auto manufacturing, software and entertainments are establishing themselves in these cities.
A - Ahmedabad is India's seventh largest city, it is a major commercial hub in Gujarat, one of the fastest growing states in India and also one with the most business-friendly policies. The city's economy is growing at breakneck speed and it houses major chemicals and pharmaceuticals companies. Numerous foreign companies have set up bases in the city. Ahmedabad also boats of a thriving information technology industry.
B - Bangalore the capital of Karnataka, also called the Silicon Valley of India. There are hundreds of major IT corporations, both home-grown giants and multinational majors, have their headquarters in the city. It has the country's fourth fastest growing FMCG markets, and is home to thousands of millionaires.
C - Chennai's growth has been nothing short of sensational in the recent years. It is the major hub of automobile industry in India, dubbed the Detroit of Asia. It also houses major electronics and telecommunications equipment firms. In recent times it has also seen a huge boost to its software services and hardware manufacturing sectors. Further the congestion in Bangalore has led to many a company moving to Chennai thus providing it with a major growth impetus.
Most of the 'fastest-growing' in the world are predominantly in the Asian continent. The growth of India and China also creates opportunity for other emerging players, particularly in Southeast Asia by creating markets for goods and services as well as investment capital.
If we keenly observe none of the growing cities which are listed in the Forbes list are not ruled by the Congress party. Maybe there are several reasons like politics over economics, family over nation, individual over society, dictatorship over democracy etc by the ruling party.
It is interesting to note the other side, developing cities never show the growth or improving the life of the common people it only reflects growth of business companies. Unless the common people’s life improves, how can we say that country is improving? Every Indian has to rise up to their next level of up gradation as an human being and set progressive standard within ourselves relentlessly till we achieve the standard we set , in whichever area we work or involved.
The transparency in our political system like western countries will prevent the corruption which is hindering the growth of our country. Finally instead of blaming & criticizing other political parties the current ruling party should start working for the all round development of our nation. Every Indian believes that India would become a developed country by 2025. Development along with our cultural values will take our nation to greater heights.
