Broadcasting Your Faults To The World ?
Some women have a habit that RUINS their success with men and with careers and with friends and acquaintances and virtually everything.
They broadcast their faults to the world. People didn't know about the fault until you told
them. So why tell them?
Some women do this out of guilt, wanting absolution and understanding by confessing a shortcoming. They think that if they confess their fault, people will be warm and sympathetic.
What will really happen is that people will now see you in a worse light than before. Is that what you really want? ('Course not.)
Women need to retain their mystery and one of the most IMPORTANT ways you can do this by NOT spilling the beans on your worst features!!
Another reason women do this is that they feel it is dishonest not to. But you are not obligated in any way to INFORM anyone of your bad traits, my friend! We all have them. Those who know you the longest and the best will find out your weaknesses in due time, perhaps - and that's how it's supposed to work.
You're not supposed to inform them of this "IN ADVANCE"!! It's one of the worst things a woman can say about herself. The other worst thing - the thing you should never tell a man - is in Ginie Sayles program "The Foolproof Guide to Meeting Men" -
which is here:
And by the way, it is not that you should not tell a man about your "past" - or rather not
exactly. (No, you shouldn't tell him that.)
Being "open" does not mean discussing your faults or your sordid past if you have a sordid past. Too many people talk about such things when they hardly know someone - and to people they end up not knowing that long.
Why open yourself up to negative judgment when you don't need to do this? When you
open that door, people will feel invited to judge you - because you opened the door
yourself.
Speak about yourself only in positive and respectful terms. That alone is very good
for your self-esteem over time. It increases your own self-respect.
